Archive for July, 2007

Welcome to my new site… All done!

Sorry about the constant updating, server problems, loading issues, etc.

I was getting alot of hits last week and was unsure about doing everything then - but than figured that doing the ‘change over’ ASAP was the right call. Looking back, it definetly was.

Just a little more to get done, but as you can see - now there’s a poll, video player, mp3 player, RSS Feed, Mailing List, Store (coming in a few days), Blog, and a cool ‘Header’ at the top.

I’ll get more into what I’m doing on July 30, 2007. The idea is going to be awesome, and you will all be a part of it.

This site is MUCH cleaner, organized, and fun to check out. I’m thrilled with it, and hope everyone likes the update. ALOT of planning went on in order to ‘get it right’. I did it all in a week, not knowing a thing or two about anything, so any problems, links, bugs, etc. please let me know! Well, alot has been going on, and I’m exhausted but excited.

I’ll go back to my ‘normal’ blog in a few days, just giving everyone the heads up.

Thanks again.

I’m interviewed by Bazooka Joe from Small World Podcast Today! Click Here to listen! We talk about why I had the score for an 80-piece orchestra performed with samples on a computer; how I came to write and perform classical music; themes and ideas I wanted to explore on ‘I.I’, why some critics say my music is not “academic” enough; general reactions to my score; themes and ideas I want to embellish on my next CD; adapting ‘I.I’ for guitar; whether composers are changing their attitudes to having their music performed by a computer; would people’s expectations about classical music performed on a computer change if they knew how much editing and overdubs are done in traditional classical performances; composers I enjoy and admire.

Featured songs are:

1. “TLM”
2. “SQ III”
3.“Airies” - Which is from my next CD. To Download ‘Airies’ for FREE CLICK HERE
