Songwriting: Lyric Tricks

When writing lyrics there are a few things to do to make them ‘fit’ and sound more creative. The trick to doing anything well is to keep on doing it until you get it. So the main tip when trying to get good at writing lyrics is to write a lot of songs. Watch the video below to learn more:

    ive actually been tryin to write some lyrics with a friend for my band and it seems we always got the lyrics first and then the music…. people told me that was the wrong way to do it too but i kinda just said “how is there a wrong way to make music?? right?”

    Your a really good teacher both music and about life.

    I write song lyrics all the time,sometimes it flows out and other times it will take days to write,it’s just on you feel about a certain subject or topic, I write what want to write about and it really works for me.

    Some artists lyrics I suggest you at our Smile Empty Soul,Evans Blue,and Chevelle. Three different lyric styles.
