Your Weekly Music Lesson #3 ‘How to Read Music’ on Revision3 Beta

Week 3! This is all about ‘How to Read Music‘ We learned Chords last week, but since it takes a few weeks to get those chords down, I thought it’d be good to work on How to Read Music! Rip out that instrument, turn up the volume, skip dinner, and GET READY! It all starts here. Any music questions let me know! you can also watch all my other Revision 3 tutorials too.

So watch this and also at the 7 minute mark is a huge shout section that we all give. Using the power of Ustream.TV and Twitter I called my community over and recorded everyone at my Ustream.TV Music Show

    Love your videos! Keep up the great work! Just started a piano sight reading class this semester, and my professor is from Brazil. So on top of trying to understand his thick accent I have to figure out how to read the music he puts in front of me everyday and I don’t have a clue!     Yes, you should have a guitar if you’re taking lessons, so you can practice between lessons.

    Yes, notes and rhythms are different. Notes refer to the note’s pitch. Rhythms refer to how you play each note
