hey man I just have one question. You say in this video that the best way to get from a major to d sharp minor is from a sharp 7th. Why is that?

To get from A to D#minor:
Go from A to A#7, which leads to D#minor. Because A#7 is the fifth of D#.
The 5 chord works for all keys
so you are going like… 5 and then 1. The 5th being the a#7 and then the 1 being the D#m right?
