Felix Machines, Powerstrip Circus, and getting lost

Submitted by Walt on Wednesday, 22 April 2009View Comments

Perhaps one of the coolest videos I’ve seen in a while. This piece of music and instrument by Felix Machines is astounding. I’m a big fan of Music Tech, and also prepared piano and new instruments – but this is really neat. It reminded me of Animusic, but in real life – SO COOL!

It’s funny, too, because I’m new to New York City, and couldn’t find where my meeting was, so I asked two guys where 1st Ave and 1st Street was and we started talking. As it turns out they were also musicians, too. So when I looked on their website Powerstrip Circus I was pleased to find the video above as well as many other cool blog posts subscribed!

PowerStrip Circus is ran by KRTS, Slouch, Tom Phonic, Graham Meyer, Corrie Greenhouse and is a very cool blog – there was even one with Chip Music – which is awesome considering I interviewed MC Frontalot and did studio work for Nerdcore MC Lars. I love this city.
